Titan Poker Review
Titan tells you right off, why you should be playing on their site. Titan Poker, they promise, is easy, safe, and secure. If you play for cash – and win, payouts are prompt. There are exciting games for all levels – and limits. They are licensed and regulated. AND (they use all caps for this final promise) NO CREDIT CARD NEEDED.
A beginner, with a healthy dose of skepticism, might say – I think the lady doth protest too much. Why all the emphasis on safety, security, and regulation. Someone needs to be assured, set at ease. Maybe, the beginner might conclude, they have had problems in the past.
Like many of the leading sites, the Home Page is on the busy side – in terms of numbers and design. An “update” section tells you that there are over 17,000 players on site now, at over 3100 tables. The center panel advertises sign-up bonuses (50% up to $200), the software download, and even something called FLASH POKER, that appears to allow you to play without downloading.
So let’s get started. We’re beginning the download process at 10:37 a.m.
Whoops. Something may be incompatible with my operating system (Firefox). At first the software wouldn’t load – and then I got the message File not Found. It may be that the system believes this file is a Trojan Horse – and won’t allow it to operate. But I was never asked to disable pop-ups, or drop any other security devices I have. I tried several times but got the same message.
It could be my Windows OS? But I haven’t got time to worry about it so, for now, I’ll move on to another poker site.
